Become a Partner
By becoming a Partner, your organization can help Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania provide scholarship grants for college and vocational education to children of workers seriously injured or killed in work-related accidents. Partnerships are essential for fulfilling our mission, with contribution levels reflecting the scholarship recipients’ school years, and operate on a 12-month cycle. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, all contributions are tax-deductible. Senior Partner
Senior Partner: $10,000
- Acknowledgement in Kids’ Chance promotions.
- Listing in the Kids’ Chance Honor Roll of Supporters posted on the website.
- Inclusion on the Kids’ Chance letterhead.
- Recognition on the Kids’ Chance website including company logo, company description and an active link to the company’s website.
- Invitations to Kids’ Chance programs and events.
- Recognition award(s) presented at the annual Kids’ Chance Recognition Event.
Junior Partner
Junior Partner: $5,000
- Acknowledgement in Kids’ Chance promotions.
- Listing in the Kids’ Chance Honor Roll of Supporters posted on the website.
- Inclusion on the Kids’ Chance letterhead.
- Invitations to Kids’ Chance programs and events.

Sophomore Partner
Sophomore Partner: $2,500
- Acknowledgement in Kids’ Chance promotions.

- Invitations to Kids’ Chance programs and events.
- Recognition award(s) presented at the annual Kids’ Chance Recognition Event.
Freshman Partner
Freshman Partner: $1,000
- Listing in the Kids’ Chance Honor Roll of Supporters posted on the website.
- Invitations to Kids’ Chance programs and events.
- Recognition award(s) presented at the annual Kids’ Chance Recognition Event.

Become a Sponsor
Scholar Sponsors contribute a minimum of $25,000.00 over a period of not more than five years. The contribution can be made in a lump sum or in equal semi-annual or annual installments.
Benefits
For five consecutive years, the Scholar Sponsor will receive:
- Acknowledgement in Kids’ Chance promotions.
- Listing in the Kids’ Chance Honor Roll of Supporters posted on the website.
- Inclusion on the Kids’ Chance letterhead.
- Recognition on the Kids’ Chance website including company logo, company description and an active link to the company’s website.
- Invitations to Kids’ Chance programs and events.
- Recognition award (s) presented at the annual Kids’ Chance Recognition Event.
As a Scholar Sponsor, you or your organization may recommend that its scholarship be awarded to a student pursuing a particular field of study. Kids’ Chance reserves the right to award the scholarship to a student pursuing a different field of study, in the event that there is not a suitable scholarship applicant for the recommended field of study. Kids’ Chance will work with the Scholar Sponsor with regard to photo opportunities, plaque presentations and articles for your company newsletter or website.
At least ninety percent (90%) of the Scholars Program contributions will directly fund scholarships for deserving students. The remaining ten percent (10%) will fund other Kids’ Chance programs or administrative costs.

How much of my gift will go toward scholarships?
Thanks to the commitment of our Corporate & Community Partners, 100% of your donation will be directed to scholarship grants for eligible applicants.
How do I make a donation?
You can make a donation online through PayPal, or you may mail a donation, by completing the Kids’ Chance Scholarship Fund Form and forwarding it to the Kids’ Chance office:

What criteria must my gift meet to be tax-deductible?
- You must actually donate cash or property before December 31, 2019 to claim a deduction on your 2019 tax return. A pledge is not deductible.
- You must contribute to a qualified tax-exempt organization. Kids’ Chance of PA is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization as recognized by the IRS
- You must be able to itemize. Giving to charity is a great tax planning strategy, but it only applied to those individuals eligible to itemize their deductions.
- You must meet record keeping requirements. This includes saving canceled checks, acknowledgment letters from the charity, and appraisals for donated property.
How can I maximize the impact of my gift?
More than 11,000 U.S. companies have matching-gifts programs. These companies recognize the importance of private support for worthy non-profit organizations through charitable support and will match the gifts their employees make to Kids’ Chance.
What if I am unable to give at this time? Is there another way I can support Kids’ Chance?
